Community Support

We are pleased to announce that Atherstone Town Council have again approved our application from the Community Grant Fund towards the cost of the road closures for this years event.

Providing the security of a road race on fully closed roads remains a top priority for the race organisers and we are again very grateful to the council for their support.

With the increased participation this year and the likely increase in supporters along the route, ensuring we have a professionally installed and maintained system in operation is a key factor in our continued success.

We look forward to seeing you there.

The "Who's who" of Running Clubs

Which running club is going to be awarded the Most Represented Club this year?

The race is on with Massey Ferguson Running Club currently leading the pack.

Can your club catch them and take this prestigious award away? Which club is the smart money on with members holding back from entering?

We think we know. Do you?

So, I am guessing each and every one of you ran or competed this weekend?

As the quote states and as I am sure you have all experienced, each run is supported or sabotaged by a series of arguments!

How do you ensure the saboteur in you is silenced? What positive messages do you tell yourself when the going gets tough?

Share you positive mantra, it may help someone on their next run or race
