We would like to be able to give even more next year and being rated as one of the best UK 10k events would help us achieve our goal.

Just a quick reminder that voting on nominees closes at midday this Thursday... the shortlists (12 with the most votes in each category) will be announced 13th December when voting reopens!

Congratulations to Chris Horton, Adrian Leigh and Neil Screaton from Screatons Ltd (Chartered Accountants) for winning the Garner Canning Corporate Shield with a cumulative time of 2:04:57.

We look forward to seeing Screatons compete in 2019.

We can control most things but sorry folks we haven’t mastered the weather

Please come prepared for the weather conditions and if you want to wear an old top or outer layer to the start area, our team will collect all items left after the start and take them to St Mary’s church. You can then collect them after the race.

We will accept no responsibility for items lost or damaged so do not leave your favourite jacket!

Using just one word tell us how you are feeling about the 2018 BA10k!

The t-shirts have arrived, the medals are glistening and your goody bags are ready.

We collected the water and bananas from Aldi this afternoon and just one more collection tomorrow, the Gayton's Bakery goody!

Bring on Race Day 😁

Not long now and we have a few more important reminders for you

Our race does not allow headphones, if you have bone conductor headphones these are permitted but please remember to register their use when you collect your race number.

Race Registration opens at 8.00 am

If you eligible for the 'BADGER of Honour' these can be collected when you finish the race from Presentation Table. We will have a list of eligible participants. If your name is not on the list our volunteer will be able to give you an award but they will take your details and if eligible we will post your award after the event.

If you are unwell or injured on Race Day please do not run. It may be disappointing but you there are other races and we will be back in 2019!

We will have plenty of Hi-Viz heroes around the course to encourage and support you to that PB - give them a wave/smile or grimace! Please follow there instructions.

We have four great photographers out on the course - don't forget to smile.

Last and most importantly, look after each other and enjoy our event.
